RIDE N DRY™ THE DUCKING COVER

TERMS OF USE, WARRANTY & DISCLAIMER

 

1. TERMS OF USE. This Product is offered on the condition of complete acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions and notices contained.

 

2. WARNING. DO NOT INSTALL OR REMOVE THE PRODUCT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE. PRIOR TO INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE PRODUCT, ENSURE THE VEHICLE IS IN A NEUTRAL OR PARKED POSITION AND HAS COME TO A COMPLETE STOP AND THE PARKING BRAKE ENGAGED. 

 

3. MANUFACTURER WARRANTY. This Product is covered by a Manufacturer Warranty for a period of 30 Days from the date of purchase. Purchaser will be entitled to the full benefit of the Manufacturer Warranty after providing proof of purchase and transaction number to the manufacturer at Shop@ridendry.com. Purchaser must send the defective Product in a reasonably clean condition via post [USPS, UPS, FEDEX] to the manufacturer at their own expense.

 

Any factory defects on the Product will be corrected by the manufacturer during the warranty period. Replacement of the Product(s) will be provided only for factory defects related to the stitching and hardware of the Product(s).

 

It is normal for Marine vinyl/clear vinyl window to crease do to folding for storage in bag. Laying the cover flat on clean, dry surface for a short period of time, approximately 20-30 minutes in the sun, will help smooth them out.

 

Do NOT use heat gun, iron, open flames, dryers, heat pressing machines or any other forms of heat to remove creases on vinyl as it will melt the plastic.   

 

Manufacturer Warranty excludes any damages to the product caused by natural elements, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, snow, blizzards, salt/brine, flooding, hail, earthquakes, fires, animals, trees, tree branches, extended sun exposure, or extreme temperatures. The warranty also excludes damages to the Product caused by theft, vandalism, accidents, stains, or improper installation. Manufacturer Warranty will not cover the Product if any alterations, adjustment, additions, or changes have been made to the cover and/or its components.

 

This Warranty is not transferable.

 

4. PRODUCT INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL. To install the Product, lay the cover flat across the dash, loop cord around upright tweeters in corners of dash and windshield, if tweeters lay flat, place hook in corner to secure hold, attach hooks on each side of dash between the dash and door frame. Then attach all hooks into defrost vents, and secure the Product around the sides of the vehicle dashboard adjusting bungy cords to secure fit.

Before operating the vehicle with the installed Product, ensure that all gear shifts, steering column arms, and vehicle operating areas are not restricted by the Product. If head lamps and wipers will be used during the operation of the vehicle, they should be placed in the “on” position prior to covers being placed on steering arms. Do not place, attach, cover, or in any way obstruct the airbag openings with the Product.

 

During use of the Product, all car vents should be open and placed on a low defrost setting to avoid fogging of the plastic panels.

 

When removing the Product, do not tug, pull, or force the cover off the vehicle dashboard. To avoid damage to the Product and vehicle, gently remove the hooks from their positions.

 

The Product is meant for use only in emergency rain conditions, or when off-roading in a vehicle on which the doors have been removed. Prolonged use of the Product for extended driving periods could lead to an overheating of the dashboard and damage to the vehicle.

 

The product is not machine washable and should not be dry cleaned. Do not clean the Product while it is installed in the vehicle. Product should be removed, placed on a flat surface, cleaned with warm water and mild soap, and hung to dry.

     4. DISCLAIMER. Manufacturer is not responsible for any damages that occur to a vehicle during the use of the Product. Manufacturer will not be held responsible for damages that may occur to any electrical components, audio systems, or other vehicular or personal devices while the Product is in use. Under no circumstance will the manufacturer be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, or special consequential damages, to property or life, arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of its products.

 

Purchaser, to the fullest extent allowed by law agrees and covenants not to sue, pursue any action, or seek any remedy against RideNDry® its employees, owners, officers, directors, members, managers, independent contractors, and/or representatives now and in the future and does now and will in future release Ride N Dry™ employees, owners, officers, directors, members, managers, independent contractors, agents, and/or representatives against any and all claims, causes of action (including, among all others, those based on an allegation of negligence, etc.), liabilities, damages, attorney’s fees, costs, and/or expenses of every nature and type arising out of or related to the use of the Product.  

     5. MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS. The purchaser agrees that this disclaimer statement is governed by the laws of North Carolina. Purchaser hereby consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Courts of North Carolina, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Product. If any part of this disclaimer is determined to be void, invalid, unenforceable or illegal, including, but not limited to the warranty disclaimers and liability disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
